Artist Statement

I lived in New Jersey most of my life and moved to Florida in 2001 when I retired from the advertising world.

After a successful thirty five year career in the design field, and having raised my son and put him through college, I decided that it was now time for me to get back into what I loved to do and did not have the time for so many years. I wanted to paint again and I decided that it was time to retire and start working on painting. I loved working with oils in art school, so I choose these media to work with.

I am a self-taught, self-representing artist, presently living in Florida, USA. Nothing brings me more joy then to painting vivid colors and any subject that has inspired me to take control of the painting, with me there just to guide it, never holding back. I strive to show that oils can be bold, rich and dramatic. My work is usually a particular subject such as large flowers, palm trees or seascapes, which I love to paint in brilliant colors.

Each piece of artwork from my studio is a result of an emotion I feel, and my ability to visually translate that with color and movement. Each painting is signed & dated, complete with certificate of authenticity, which includes its current retail list price.

I professionally package each painting to ensure its safe arrival using custom size boxes, and bubble wrap & packing peanuts for added security. I take great pride and care in my work, and want to ensure the safety of your new investment.

I feel truly blessed to be able to do what I love, I thank god everyday for this blessing, because without him to strengthen me and guide my heart I wouldn’t be able to share this gift.
